I wish you could upload the pictures without linking them elsewhere which slows the process of looking at more recipes. I might try it this weekend. Here it is: Chocolate Wacky Cake • 1 1/2 cups flour • 1 cup sugar • 1 teaspoon baking soda • 1/2 teaspoon salt • 3 tablespoons cocoa • 1/3 cup cooking oil • 1 tablespoon vinegar • 1 teaspoon vanilla • 1 cup cold water Mix dry ingredients in 9 x 9-inch pan. Make 3 holes; pour oil, vinegar and vanilla in separate holes. Pour water over all. Mix well with fork or hand mixer. Do not beat. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. I’ve only been reading your blog for a few weeks, but I made the oreos last week, with smashing results. Big rave reviews. My modification was not to the ingredients, but to the assembly. I chilled the dough for about an hour and then used a small ice cream scooper. Rolled the scoops into balls and then thumb pressed them down on the cookie sheet. It worked extremely well and it resulted in app. 45 sandwich cookies. I love the pictures. The first day I tried the Chocolate Chip Banana Bread and loved loved loved it! I plan to try a few more over the next few weeks! I find dessert recipes particularly tempting, although I’m not much of a dessert eater. I like to share them with my neighbors.
