Just A Note

I’m still here, I promise!

I’ve been sick with chronic Strep and tonsillitis lately so I haven’t been doing any baking. If the results of my latest Strep test are negative, I’ll have a tonsillectomy on November 21 which means you can expect new recipes again sometime in December. In the meantime, I’ll be eating lots of popsicles and looking at yummy stuff I can’t eat.

Okay, scratch that. The Strep came back which means my surgery has been postponed to December 19. Stay tuned for new recipes soon, as long as I am feeling well.

    Tori,

The chocolate chip banana bread recipe is really easy and so good. Other than that, I don’t know any. I have yet to venture into bread making, sorry!

I am so sorry you are so under the weather right now. You are in my prayers, and I hope your body heals as soon as possible. 🙂

I read your blog linking through Amanda’s. I just wanted to say that I was in your shoes last year. I had strep 4 times in a row, it was hell, I was so sick. Whenever I went to the doctors I just got a new antibiotic and it never went away. I was so sick. I went to a Traditional Chinese doctor. He gave me this tablet to take for 10 (i think) days. The strep was GONE in three days. It worked like a hot damn. I HIGHLY recommend you checking it out. Then you won’t need surgery. I just thought you would like to know that some one else has been in your shoes and that there is an end in sight. Get better!

My daughter is in love with pumpkin cookies and cake from our local bakery. She wants me to make something for her December 7th birthday. Any pumpkin cake, cookie or cupcake receipes you can help me with?

    Thanks

Kirsten, sorry I don’t have any pumpkin recipes. I can’t stand pumpkin! You may want to check around the links on my sidebar…I know a lot of them baked with pumpkin recently.
