Giveaway: Trudeau Baking Products

Last month, I was asked by the folks at Trudeau if I was interested in reviewing some of their baking products. They sent me a huge box filled with lots of fun stuff, and I was anxious to try it all out!

The package included:

  • egg separater
  • pot clip
  • silicone spatula
  • silicone whisk
  • silicone cupcake cups
  • silicone pinch grips (for lifting hot plates)
  • silicone brush
  • silicone pinch bowls
  • mixing bowls

Trudeau Giveaway

Initially, I thought my favorite product was the flexible pinch bowls because the pinchable material makes it easy to get everything out of the bowl without creating a mess, but then I fell in love with the set of mixing bowls too. Not only do the mixing bowls have a grip on the bottom so they don’t slide across the counter, they are microwave AND dishwasher safe. And they have a pouring spout. I know, how more perfect can they be?

And because I loved the products so much, I asked Trudeau if they would give away a prize pack on my blog, so here’s your chance to win all of the products mentioned above. Just leave a comment telling me which product you are most excited to use and why, and you will be entered to win.

Giveaway ends at 11:59 p.m. EST on Sunday, August 21, 2011. One winner will be selected at random shortly thereafter and contacted by email. Please note this contest is only open to residents of the U.S. and Canada.

***Giveaway is now closed.***

Trudeau sent me these products in exchange for this review.

    Marisa on 3 August 16th, 2011 9:12 pm

The mixing bowls sound fantastic! I love that they have a spout to pour the batter, that is always the messiest part for me. And who wouldn’t love dishwasher safe for easy clean up!

    Sarah @ pão e queijo on 4 August 16th, 2011 9:13 pm

Oohh I hope I win! I love this giveaway… especially the egg separator, mixing bowls, and silicone cupcake molds. 🙂

    Amy on 5 August 16th, 2011 9:19 pm

I would love to try the pinch grips. I have burned myself almost every time I am baking in my oven taking off lids. I feel like this would be a great thing to add to my kitchen.

    justJENN on 6 August 16th, 2011 9:20 pm

OH. I’ve been eyeing those pinch bowls forever!!

    Beth Blitzer on 7 August 16th, 2011 9:21 pm

love those cupcake holders – how perfect for a small apartment kitchen where we must choose our baking implements sparingly… and just in time to make our annual italian plum desserts – my 15 year old’s end of summer favorite ritual.

    Dawn C. on 8 August 16th, 2011 9:34 pm

The egg separator. I am SO hit or miss when it comes to separating eggs!

    Henrik Helgesen on 9 August 16th, 2011 9:43 pm

As everybody else, I would LOOOOOOVE to try the egg seperator. seperating room temperature eggs always seem to create a big mess when I make soufflés.

and my wife won’t let me buy silicone pinch grips.

    jami on 10 August 16th, 2011 9:49 pm

I love the idea of the whisk because my pots are all nonstick, and I can’t use a metal whisk!

    Esther on 11 August 16th, 2011 9:52 pm

I want it all but I really need the silicone wire whisk because Thanksgiving is coming and I need it so that I can make my husband’s favorite banana pudding.

    Nancy L on 12 August 16th, 2011 10:04 pm

I’ve wanted to try the silicon cupcake cups for a long time!

    Laurey on 13 August 16th, 2011 10:24 pm

Everything looks awesome…but I have to say the pinch bowls intrigue me the most. I saw someone on a cooking show using them and my interest was piquéd!!

    Margaret on 14 August 16th, 2011 11:01 pm

The pinch grips look amazing! I would love to try them and see if they live up to all of the hype. Thanks for hosting this giveaway!

    barbara parker on 15 August 16th, 2011 11:10 pm

Those mixing bowls look TERRIFIC. I would love those colorful bowls.

    Sandy on 16 August 17th, 2011 2:44 am

So funny! I almost bought this exact egg separator, pot clip AND pinch grips on Saturday!! Had I seen the others…I would have probably purchased the whole kit-and-caboodle!!!

Though my Saturday trio would have been more “I want them” purchases – I really need the nonslip mixing bowls. I’m always making a giant mess of things….

    Kristin on 17 August 17th, 2011 3:30 am

I would love the spatula most because I have new calphalon pans!

    Pam C on 18 August 17th, 2011 3:39 am

I would love to try the pinch bowls because I have never heard of a pinch bowl, and since I love to bake would also love to try the mixing bowls.

    corinne on 19 August 17th, 2011 4:07 am

I would love some more mixing bowls!

    Beccs on 20 August 17th, 2011 4:10 am

The pinch grips sound wonderful – I’m awful with hot pots! But they all sound wonderful – and your description of the mixing bowls makes them very tempting…

    Susan J on 21 August 17th, 2011 5:24 am

I’d love to see how those cupcake cups work out.

    Evelyn R on 22 August 17th, 2011 6:05 am

I would like the silicone whisk to use with my non-stick pans.

    tiff on 23 August 17th, 2011 6:13 am

I am most excited about the mixing bowls. It seems I never have enough bowls when baking!

    Maureen on 24 August 17th, 2011 6:31 am

The Silicone pinch grip sounds like it is what I am looking for and would be a great add to my kitchen as would all of these items.

    Seanna Lea on 25 August 17th, 2011 6:47 am

I’ve been using ladles with my mixing bowls or a cookie/ice cream scoop. I’d be beyond thrilled to have a mixing bowl with a spout for things like pancake batter. It would be so much less messy!

    Laurie on 26 August 17th, 2011 7:22 am

Egg separator and pinch grips! Really all of them!

    Rachel on 27 August 17th, 2011 7:30 am

    Holy cow!
I think they are all pretty amazing… but the mixing bowl definitely caught my eye! I have been using the same hideous Walmart mixing bowl since I was a Freshman in college and it’s about time that thing bit the dust… at the hands of several roommates, it has been cracked, melted, and stained. It’s been a little while since I’ve been a part of the college/roommate life, I really ought to step into a new phase with my kitchen tools!

    Margie on 28 August 17th, 2011 8:05 am

I love everything. You can never have too many toys in the kitchen. If I had to choose it might be the mixing bowls because I bake a lot and never have enough bowls.

    Nicole M on 29 August 17th, 2011 9:51 am

Ahaha this kit would be so perfect for our Cloak & Dinner’s! We are forever running out of space / mixing bowls / equipment / burning our hands on hot stove tops!!! Haha and if I don’t win, I’ll just have to come over & borrow yours :-).

    xoxo
    Nicole

    Jessica on 30 August 17th, 2011 10:45 am

The mixing bowls! I have a melamine set I love but every time I nuke one in the microwave I do a special prayer to the kitchen gods it doesn’t melt and that its not ten thousand degrees when I pull it out!

    Guy on 31 August 17th, 2011 11:02 am

I was making my own version of a protien bar, it was too thick and I ruined my favorite wisk, I really need somthing that will stand up to heavy mixes!

    Betsy M on 32 August 17th, 2011 11:32 am

I am coveting those prep pinch bowls. I’ve got three kids running me ragged, so I try to do my meal prep while they’re in school. Using pinch bowls for meal prep makes me happy! Studies show that happy mothers raise happy productive kids.

    It’s win-win!

    Tricia on 33 August 17th, 2011 11:42 am

The gizmo that helps you not burn yourself….I don’t need to explain.

    Kevin on 41 August 17th, 2011 6:36 pm

I’ve kind of become obsessed with whisks lately (dunno why), so I’d like to get my hands on those!

    denise levin on 42 August 17th, 2011 7:52 pm

all of those things look so nice. my stuff is 31 years old and looks so drab- nothing colourful in the whole lot of mine! I think its time for a “shower” like the new brides get, and get all new pretty coloured things. So I hope I win, cuz it doesnt look like any shower is in the cards for me! Will make cooking for my family so much more fun- but ill be happy for whoever wins!

I have a small bowl fetish so that would be my pick. The fetish is small, the bowls don’t have to be. Love your poem Helen, very creative!

    Intisar on 45 August 18th, 2011 5:28 am

Definitely the mixing bowls! I have been looking for the perfect bowls and haven’t found them yet.

    Carolyn on 46 August 18th, 2011 7:38 am

Those pinch bowls look great, very useful for premeasuring stuff! And the pot clip would be nice too, to save the counters and stovetop from some of the mess.

    Ana on 47 August 18th, 2011 10:20 am

Wow, so many choices. Thanks for this terrific giveaway! I am really excited about the silicone pinch grips. I love silicone stuff because it is so versatile and easy to care for.

    Melanie Carvell on 48 August 18th, 2011 11:01 am

Oh how I long for a silicone pot clip. My counters would be cleaner, my sauces would be smoother and my life would be more organized!!

    Lauren on 49 August 18th, 2011 12:14 pm

I’ll be honest – I had to look up the pot clips on Amazon. But now, I NEED them lol! Pot clip spoon rests?? Yes, please!

    Lauren on 50 August 18th, 2011 1:08 pm

The cupcake cups because I’m on a huge cupcake kick!!

    Katie on 51 August 18th, 2011 2:10 pm

I would love to try the whisk – I love whisking things!

    dana on 53 August 19th, 2011 5:41 am

Everything looks incredible! After being married for 24 years – using most of the same things that I received as shower gifts – my bowls are tired. My spatulas have been loved – they are ready to be replaced, and egg separator would be great – thinking of meringues… for the April holiday. Three daughters, three tuitions, camp, and everything else – new mixing bowls often slide to the bottom of the list. thanks

    Valerie Apisala on 54 August 19th, 2011 9:03 am

Ooh, I want to try the pinch bowls & silicone cupcake liners!

    Kim Daigre on 55 August 19th, 2011 10:37 am

I love them all…. I have a small kitchen and it is full of assorted gadgets. I love to cook!!! I am most excited at the prospect of trying out the pinch grips. I have many pot holders but find that some are so worn they are really no help at all.

    Bethany on 56 August 19th, 2011 1:37 pm

    I love the whisk!!!

    phyllis on 57 August 19th, 2011 2:52 pm

i love the idea of mixing bowls that are both dishwasher and microwave safe, since mine are only one and not the other. that would make things easier!!!

    Vicki on 58 August 19th, 2011 3:02 pm

I would love to have the mixing bowls. The grip on the bottom is fantastic! There would be less of a chance I throw the bowl while stirring…not that I have ever done that, or anything…

    Emily on 59 August 19th, 2011 11:02 pm

I would love to try the silicone pinch grips – I have a bad habit of burning myself in the kitchen (pretty clumsy) and so I can use all the help I can get. The bowls sound fantastic too!
    Thanks for the giveaway!

    jo on 66 August 20th, 2011 9:02 pm

I’m loving anything in silicon from this nifty company. All of my pots/pans are non-stick, so I need the whisk/spatula, but I WANT those bowls…. the ones that pinch and the ones that don’t. I enjoy reading your blog, thank you for the great recipes.

    Darren on 67 August 20th, 2011 10:27 pm

I would love to have the cupcake cups. Well actually it all looks useful and our kitchen could certainly use the color!

    Krissie on 68 August 20th, 2011 11:09 pm

    Debbie on 69 August 21st, 2011 7:57 am

I’ve been eyeing up the pinch grips in the store for the last few months. Especially excited to see if they work for taking things out of the oven, like my 9 X 13’s. My oven mits are always getting into the food. Also, who couldn’t use some bright and colorful things in their kitchen?

    Michelle on 70 August 21st, 2011 9:01 am
