I’ve been making different flavors of strawberry jams…my current favorite is a strawberry-chipotle jam-spicy and sweet. Recently i made a sweet pastry crust then placed a thin layer of strawberry jam over the cooked crust. I sliced fresh strawberries over the jam and mixed some whipped cream with the same jam as a coating for the fruit-sort-of-a strawberry-chipotle cream pie. mmmmm
